The main areas that we are asking for assistance are:
- Political support
- Financial support
- Ideas and contacts for support for our cause
- Statistics for the suicides rates in your nation
- Answers to the questions - What services do we need, and what services should be funded?
- Donations of accommodation, gas, food, auto servicing, internet access, faxing access, cell phones, a lap top computer, long distance phone cards, etc.
- Hosting the Walkers in your community and help planning a community gathering, and an opportunity to meet with your youth.
We are encouraging all of our supporters to write to your federal legislators to encourage them to respond to this epidemic. Please write to the Prime Minister and send a copy to the following Ministers, and a copy to Youth Suicide Prevention Walk in Nanaimo.
