These 3 photos were sent by Clifford Paul who said,
Attached, please find the photographs I took of The Youth Suicide Prevention Walk when we had our sendoff from Sydney Harbour. I must say that these are a very inspiring group of young men to undertake the task of walking across Canada for a very worthy cause. I had the opportunity to walk with them from Sydney Harbour to the Eskasoni turnoff (18k) - it was a great honor to share the same path. These young men are great role models and are true leaders. |

Eleanor Graham School in Rexton, New Brunswick
We had all the grade 8's involved. We took them out to
walk and meet the 'walkers' and then we all came back to the school
for a short talk.
Thank you Brittany for these photos. |

New Van
This is the new van we picked up in Antigonish. This is the third and hopefully the final van for this walk. In the pic are Vincent Watts and Chasity Meuse, a walker from Indian Brook First Nation, Nova Scotia, walking for the Mi'kmaq Nation. |

Toronto, Ontario
Greetings from Burlington Ontario. We joined the walkers in Toronto at the Native Canadian Centre and were allowed the honour of joining in the opening ceremonies. The second picture is everyone getting organized to start the walk through downtown Toronto. The day was warm and sunny and the walkers were cheered along by passing motorists and pedestrians. A few people joined in the walk along the way. The Honourable James K. Bartleman, lieutenant-governor of Ontario, a member of the Mnjikaning First Nation, greets the walkers as they arrive at the Native Services School Drop-In on Yonge Street. Each step is a step of hope and courage. Thank-you.
